Delray Beach Historical Society:

located in three buildings at the corner of North Swinton Avenue and NE 1st Street

Believing that a sense of history is fundamental to understanding human experiences, collects, the historical society’s mission is to preserve and shares materials from Delray Beach’s past, so that present and future generations can comprehend more fully their predecessors, their communities and themselves.

The society encourages and assists people of all backgrounds and interests to learn more about Delray Beach’s diverse history.

Artists Alley:

“Independent Artists building a Creative Community”
Artists Alley is an authentic and thriving colony of 30 accomplished artists. Established in a one-block warehouse area and occupying 21 spaces, these independent artists are working together to inspire artistic expression and create innovative artworks.

Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens:

4000 Morikami Park Rd, Delray Beach, FL 33446

Known for special events such as The Lantern Festival and Sushi& Stroll, Morikami Park is home to exhibits, exquisite gardens and a café. The park is named for George Morikami, a Japanese immigrant to Florida who donated the land for the park to the county.

Spady Cultural Heritage Musem:

170 NW 5th Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33444

The Spady Cultural Heritage Museum is a museum of African American history in Delray Beach. It is housed in the former home of the late Solomon David Spady, a prominent African American educator and community leader.
